Data errors and errata
If data anomalies are found, please contact the hiring agency directly. To account for data errors after the Department has published the following report, hiring agencies may send a data errata letter to the Department for publication. The Department maintains a Data Errata after DPI Publication page for these letters. Omitted from this report
- Staff who were: interns, subcontracted staff, and staff hired by a Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA)
- Agencies who are: County Children with Disabilities Education Boards, State schools and facilities, and CESAs
Criteria used for identifying staff salaries to include
- Staff who had a position code of 53 (Teacher), excluding interns, subcontracted staff, and staff hired by a CESA
- Teachers who had a full-time equivalency (FTE) sum, for assignments where position code = 53, of .95 or greater
- Teachers who had contract days (days employed) equal to 160 or greater
Clarifications
- Contract Low Salary represents the agency’s lowest salary based on the criteria specified above
- Contract High Salary represents the agency’s highest salary based on the criteria specified above
- Contract Average Salary represents the agency’s average salary for teachers based on the criteria specified above
- Contract Low Fringe represents the agency’s lowest fringe amount based on the criteria specified above
- Contract High Fringe represents the agency’s highest fringe amount based on the criteria specified above
- Contract Average Fringe represents the agency’s average fringe amount for teachers based on the criteria specified above
- Contract Average Local Experience represents the average number of years of experience in education worked at the reporting agency
- Contract Average Total Experience represents the average number of years of experience in education at any educational agency
Salary Amount
This amount represents the total amount of money specifically cited in the regular contract between the staff member and the hiring LEA or stipulated to be paid to the employee before deductions. Fringe Amount (Employee Benefits)
This amount represents all employee benefits as described in the Wisconsin Uniformed Financial Accounting Record (WUFAR) Handbook page 57, Code 200 Employee Benefits: http://dpi.wi.gov/sfs/finances/wufar/overview.
